Willie Shirley, Sr., 86, of Midfield, AL., passed away October 23, 2018. He was a member of the American Legion Lodge # 1983. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Shirley; sons, Willie Shirley, Jr, Roger Shirley, David Shirley, Richard Shirley, Billy Shirley; daughter, Elizabeth Lange; grandchildren, James Sasser, Willie Shirley III, Shane Shirley, Brad Shirley, Jason Shirley, Brian Shirley, Connie McGee, April Shirley, Stephanie Shirley, Brittney Smith, Melissa Shirley, Sarah Hitchcock, Laura Hitchcock; great grandchildren, Jason, Chris, Blake, Breanna, Greg, Carlos, Ameleo, Chestney, Memphis, Helen, William, Lanie, Merissa, Dekota, Braylen; brother, Jimmy Shirley. Visitation will be Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Danny Glover officiating.
