William Lafayette Blakey Sr.

William L. Blakey, Sr., of Pleasant Grove, passed away on October 9, 2020 at the age of 78. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a longtime supported of the DAV, Disabled American Veterans. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Annie Lee Blakey; sister, Lorene McDaniel; and brother, James Franklin. He is survived by his sons, William L. Blakey, Jr. (Jinnea), Robert D. Blakey (Angela) and Matthew A. Blakey; daughters, Mary A, Gray (Mark) and Jennifer F. Blakey; sister, Betty McAnnally; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Services are incomplete at this time.
