Virgil Larry "Possie" Salter

Virgil Larry "Possie" Salter, 73 of Bessemer, Alabama passed away February 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Salter. He is survived by his wife, Wanda Salter; son, Michael Myers (Kelly); daughter-in-law, Sarah Salter; grandchildren, Bama Hernandez (Tino), Tori Russell (Tanner), Gavin Eaton (Grace), Aaron Salter, Leah Salter, Emma Watson, Grayson Eaton (Grace), Aaron Salter, Leah Salter, Emma Watson, Grayson Myers; great grandchild, Grayson Eaton and two on the way; sister, Jane Wilson and a host of nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home.
