Usnmcpo Retired Roy Douglas Bartlett

USNMCPO Retired Roy Douglas Bartlett, of Bessemer, Alabama, passed away on February 5, 2020 at the age of 74. He retired from the U.S. Navy. He was a long-time member of New Faith Baptist Church. He was a Mason and a baseball coach with T-Ball and Little League teams. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthor and Annie Bartlett and brother, Tommy Bartlett. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Minerva F. Bartlett; sons, Anthony C. (Maria) Bartlett and James D. (Kay) Bartlett; daughter, Orlinda Bartlett; sister, Judy Bartlett; brother, Johnny Bartlett; grandchildren, Aidan Bartlett, Isaac Bartlett, Maralee (Virgil) Yu, Madeline Bartlett, Kinsman Bartlett; great grandchildren, Leigha Yu and Lorenzo Yu; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM. Pastor Mike Bell officiating.
