Thomas Randolph Long, 72 of Birmingham, AL, passed on July 18, 2025. He was born on June 5, 1053 to the late John and Emma Long. He is also preceded in death by Otis and Buddy, beloved pets.
Thomas is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jane Long; daughters, Amanda L. Rushton (Tyler), Jamie R. Sood (Chris) and Bonnie E. Sumner (Danny); son, Thomas N. Long; sisters, Phillys Weathers, (Raymond) and Lynn Lay; brother, John Long (Gina); grandchildren, Lexi, Asher, Emma, Jack, Harrison, and Drayden; great grandchild, Baylor; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Thomas attended Garywood Assembly for most of his life and sang in the choir. He later joined Assembly of God, Woodstock. He will be missed by all who knew him.
