Thomas Eugene King Jr.

Thomas Eugene King, Jr, of Bessemer, passed away on November 10, 2019 at the age of 70. He retired from the Jefferson County Sheriff Department and was a member and former Chaplain of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 64. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Concord. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas E. and Pansy King; wife, Judy Ann King; son Theodore King. He is survived by his sons, Thomas E. III (Lisa) King, Timothy E.( Peggy) King; Jason A. (Jennifer) King; daughter, Jennifer C. (Mike) Wishman; grandchildren, Thomas, Hannah, Daniel, Catherine, Tabby, Jackie, Kimmie, Brooke and Jaden; great grandchildren, Navaeh, Anna, Braxton, Caden, Kaydence and Logan; sisters, Bonnie Adams and Connie King; brother, William (Karen) King and James (Cathy) King; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will start at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Pastor James E. King officiating.
