Terry Lynn Ferguson

Terry Lynn Ferguson, follower of Christ, Alabama fan, UAB grad and Auburn dad, passed away on March 19, 2026. He loved his Lord and Savior and wrote and self-published several books of devotions emphasizing scripture. Lover of Atlanta Braves Baseball. He was artistic and creative: drawing in early life and writing poetry later on. Dunker of basketballs in high school, though "only" 6'2". Loving husband, father, brother, and friend.

Attended Midfield High School and UAB. Member of the Station Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Eloise Ferguson; sister, Lisa Ferguson McNulty; son, Jonathan Ferguson, brother-in-law, James Gilliam; and sister-in-law, Susan Gilliam. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jill Ferguson; daughter, Kristin Ferguson; twin brother, Jerry Ferguson (Glynell); sister, Becky Morgan (Ron); brother, Greg Ferguson (Amy); brother-in-law, Joe McNulty; brother-in-law, Jeff Gilliam (Sheree); nieces and nephews; and many other relatives,and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM. Pastor Joe McNulty will be the officiant.
