Sherry Clements Scott, age 80, of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, passed away on April 20, 2019 in her home surrounded by family. She was an excellent southern style cook and her greatest love was simply being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Irene Clements; husband, Edward M. Scott; son, Thomas O. Scott; brothers, Gary, Lanny and Danny Clements. She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Hawkins (Bobby); sons, Lloyd Scott (Vicki) and Edward W. Scott (Beverly); Grandchildren, Zane Scott Hawkins, Stacy Hawkins (Erik), Ryan Scott (Stephanie), Tyler Scott, Ashley Scott, Brian Scott and David Frost; great grandchildren, Emeri Scott, Mason Barringer, Zia Todd, Kai Hawkins, Kaeleigh Lisby and Houston Owen. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Graveside service will begin at 1:30 PM at Oakland Cemetery, Chaplain Henry Hobson officiating.
