Sara Elise Cooley

Sara Elise Cooley, born on December 18, 1929 and passed on July 1, 2022 at 2:21 PM at Princeton Hospital. She was an active officer of Bell South/AT&T Pioneers and ABWA to serve her community for a lifetime. She is preceded in death by her mother Lucy Mae Boyd Cooley; father, Hollis Allen Cooley; brother, Carl Edwin Cooley (Mary); and by her life-long best friend and companion William Erwood Alexander (affectionately known as, "Buddy"). She is survived by her sister, Betty Cooley Echols (Jimmy); nephew, Mark Echols (Connie), Stephen Echols (Terri); niece, Misty Echols Clanton (James); nephew, Carl Cooley, Jr. (Sue); niece, Robin Anderson (Rodney), Kathy Perich (Richard); nephew, Lee Cooley; great nieces and nephews, Kahla, Justin, Colton, Ava, Mia, Asa; great great nieces and nephews, Skyler, Emoree, Levi, Hudson, Kember, Addison, Emelia, Dallas and Ronan and beloved friends and pets. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 12:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
