Rosaland Handley Love

Rosaland Handley Love, of Bessemer, passed away on February 28, 2020 at the age of 83. She was a long-time member and Sunday School Teacher at Concord Highlands Baptist Church. She as also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Police. She worked for Alabama By-products for 32 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cornelius and Kennie Handley; sisters, Dora Holsomback and Evelyn Reynolds; brother, Milton Handley and sister, Jane Manoske. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Robert L. Love, Sr.; daughter, Joyce Burgess (Jim); sons, Robert L. Love, Jr. (Andi) and Tim J. Love (Terri); grandchildren, Jennifer Tucker (Ben), Wesley Love (Brittany), Gage Burgess and Jill Baccus (Joseph); great grandchildren, Bailey Tucker, Emily Tucker, Finley Baccus and Silas Love; sister, Nancy Baker; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2020 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM in the chapel with burial to follow in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Richard Larson officiating.
