Ronald Lee Spruell Sr.

Ronald Lee Spruell, Sr., of Hueytown, passed away on November 12, 2020 at the age of 73. He retired from ACIPCO after 30 years of employment. He was a member of the Forestdale Masonic Lodge and also the former Recording Ledger for Steelworker's Union of North Birmingham. He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen Spruell; sister, Judith Charlene Wiley; granddaughter, Stephanie Michelle Anderson; and beloved pets, Pumpkin and Tiny Girl. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Johnson Spruell; sons, Ronald Lee Spruell, Jr. and Joshua Shawn Spruell (Keisha); daughter, Sonya Darlene Moore; grandchildren, Miranda Moore, Marissa Smith (Kavion), and Robert Ethan Lowery; great grandchildren, Joshua Alexander Spruell, Izabella Monique Spruell, Lucas Wayne Wood-Moore, Eva Leigh Foster, Lilah Lowery, Luna Lowery and MaLeigha Hicks; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Monday, November 16, 2020 at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 PM with funeral service starting immediately following. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery, Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Minister J.W. Pitts officiating. Social distancing and masks are required.
