Robert Lee Nicholas

Robert Lee Nicholas, 74 of Bessemer, AL, passed on November 3, 2026. Robert worked for ACIPCO for over 20 years. He loved his family, the river where he would fish and loved his sister Shirley dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy and Katie Nicholas; wife, Barbara Nicholas; brother, Eugene Nicholas; and great-grandson, Levi Franklin. He is survived by his daughter, Carrie Michelle Franklin (Billy); son, Robert Shane Nicholas; grandchildren, Hunter Franklin (Cassidy), Trevin Franklin (Kathryn), Gracie Davis (Kaleb), Dalyn Pendley, Ryder Nicholas; great grandchildren, Carter Smith, Dawson Franklin, Lily Franklin, Ellie Franklin, Donny Franklin, Kently Davis, Kolt Davis; sister, Shirley Ivy; brothers, JW Nicholas, Paul David Nicholas; nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 6, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Stewart-Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home.
