Robert Lee Moody

Robert Lee Moody, 86 of Pleasant Grove, passed away May 6, 2022. He was a member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church. He served in the US Army and the Alabama National Guard. He was a Captain with the Civil Air Patrol. He is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Moody (Eva) and Millie Smith (Nathan); wife of 25 years, Gladys Goodwin Moody; and brothers, O'Neal Moody and Larry Moody. He is survived by his sons, Douglas L. Moody (Mary Susan "Cookie"), Ricky Bell (Donna); daughters, Valerie J. Parker (Jeff) and Sharon Hadley (Doug); a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Colleen Moody Levesque (Ray); brothers, Charles "Donald" Moody (Linda), Dale Moody (Pauline) and Llwyn Smith (Debbie); numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 10, 2022 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with burial in the adjoining cemetery. Pastor Jerry Sherrell officiating.
