Raymond Calvin Booth, Sr.

Raymond Calvin Booth, Sr., age 87 of Silverhill, Al passed away October 1, 2026. Raymond was a retired coal miner and enjoyed his retirement camping with his wife of 65 years, Minnie Elizabeth Booth. He is also survived by his daughter, Shelia Hutcherson (Wesley); son, Raymond C. Booth, Jr.; 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

Raymond is predeceased by his parents, James Ervin and Norma Nettie Morrison Booth; daughter, Theresa Colburn; and brothers, Horace Booth and James Booth.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home with interment to follow in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 PM until service time. Bro. Larry Coleman officiating services.
