Peggy Jean Taylor Benton, age 75, of Hueytown, Alabama passed away on February 14, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parents; Dee and Velma Taylor, son; Jeffery Darren McConathy, step-son; Derry Joe (Joey) Benton Jr., brother; Billy Taylor. She is survived by her husband; Derry Joe Benton, son; Billy Allen McConathy (Anna), step-daughter; Kelly Benton Butler (Terry), adopted daughter & caretaker; Robin Franklin, brother; Maurice Wayne Taylor, 8 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces & Nephews, Mother-in-law; Alice Benton. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 18 from 5:00-7:00 PM, the funeral service will be on Tuesday, February 19 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Fritz Harter and Rev. Harold Kelly will be officiating. All services will be held at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, Internment in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
