Paul David Ashley, Sr.

Paul David Ashley, Sr, 77 of Hueytown, passed away March 3, 2022. He was a longtime member of Ashville Church of God. He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Ryan Tillman Ashley, Sr. and Vera Mattie Odom Ashley; brothers, Robert Ashley, Ben Ashley, Jr., Olin Ashley and Richard Ashley; sisters, Esther Ruth Richards and Carol Owen. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elizabeth "Libby" Endsley Ashley; son, David Ashley, Jr. (Iris); daughter, Tina Ingram (Randall); grandchildren, Brittney Worrell (Cody), Brent Ashley, Jimena Rodriguez, George Miranda, Brandon Ingram (Kate Syfrit), Elizabeth Ingram; great grandchildren, Marshall Paul Ingram and Aiden Dollar; brothers, Joe Ashley (Helen) and Daniel Ashley (Reba Ann); sister, Patricia Ellison (Raymond); furry friend, Tiger; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2022 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the chapel and burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Family requests no roses be sent due to allergies. Pastor Greg Ashley officiating.
