Patricia Lynn Burks

Patricia Burks was a woman whose life reflected love, faith, and unwavering devotion to her family. She lived a full and meaningful life, loving with everything she had and giving selflessly to those around her. Her heart was ten times larger than most, and her kindness was a living testimony of her faith in God and her love for others.

Patricia’s smile could change an entire room. It brought comfort in times of sorrow, joy in moments of celebration, and peace to all who encountered her. She believed deeply in loving others as Christ loved—freely, generously, and without condition—and she lived that belief every day.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Hughie and Helen Bloodsworth, her brother Bert Bloodsworth whom she now joins in eternal rest.

Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Wayne; her children, Jared(Amanda) and Monica(Trent); and her cherished grandchildren, Cooper, Hadley, Harrison, and Hudson. Her sisters Regina(Ken) and Sherrill(Eddie) as well as various in-laws and nieces and nephews. Her family was her greatest earthly blessing, and her love for them was constant, faithful, and unending.

While our hearts grieve her passing, we rejoice in the promise that Patricia is now whole, healed, and resting in the presence of her Savior. Her life was a reflection of grace, her love a gift, and her faith a legacy that will continue to live on through all who knew and loved her.

The family will receive friends on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Burial will follow service in Highland Memorial Gardens. Rev. Steve Burks officiating.
