Ondrea Sharlene Parks

Sharlene Parks, of Bessemer, passed away on June 16, 2020 at the age of 79. She was a longtime member of Hueytown Church of Christ. She enjoyed her association with the Highgrove Ladies Club. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roosevelt and Sarah Stewart; husband of over 54 years, Rodney H. Parks; and sister, Margaret Lynes. She is survived by her son, Rodney "Keith" Parks (Michelle); daughter, Cynthia K. Gallaway (Jim); grandchildren, Rebekah Parks, Jessica George (Lee),and Brittany Knizel (Tony); great grandchildren, Gabe and Micah Knizel; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 from 10:00 until 11:30 AM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:30 AM will burial in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Minister Edward Rangel officiating. Social distancing is required.
