Ola Bell Simpson
July 15, 1929 — January 22, 2018
Ola Bell Simpson passed away on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 88. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bennie and Lona Sartain. Also by her loving husband of 53 years, J.D. Simpson. Four brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include, her Daughters Sandra Rosborough (Felix) and Sharon Gant (Ricky). Sisters, Magdeline Thacker, Peggy Farley and Caroline Meyers (Neil). also by her special friend, Mike Simonton. Ola Bell, or "Lucy" as her husband called her, loved dancing and music. She loved her grandchildren and watching the Atlanta Braves play baseball. She will be greatly missed. Services will be held at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home on Thursday, January 25, 2018 with a time of visitation beginning at 10:30 AM until 11:30 AM at which time a graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Neil Myers at the adjoining Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
