Nelda Faye Kennedy

Nelda Faye Wallace Kennedy, 73 of Hueytown, Alabama passed away April 21, 2021. She was a long time member of Lowerytown Baptist Church in West Blocton. She was always seen with a smile and full of love and compassion towards others. She is preceded in death by her son, Carl Kennedy, Jr.; parents, Lehman Grundy and Esther Rosebud Wallace; brothers, Lesley Glenn Wallace, Billy Joe Wallace; sister, Beverly "Boots" Rice. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Carl Kennedy, Sr.; son, Michael Kennedy (Anita); daughter, Kimberly Knight (Ron); grandchildren, Kacey Knight, Stacey Knight, Mykaela Gragg (David), Elijah Kennedy; great grandsons, Mason Kennedy Knight, Carl Jaxon Gragg; sister, Gail England; brother, Nelson Wallace and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, April 23, 2021 5:30 PM - 7:00 PM with the funeral service starting at 7:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. A private burial will be at Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Roy Lowery officiating.
