Mary Katherine Callaway

Mary Katherine Thomas Kennedy Callaway was born, at home, in Cranes Nest, VA on November 12, 1942, to William and Anna Thomas. She was a member of Brooklane Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 21 years, Jack S. Callaway, Sr.; and grandchildren, Mary Katherine Kirkpatrick, Matthew Kirkpatrick and Michael Kirkpatrick. She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Kennedy Kirkpatrick (Jimmy) and Kim Kennedy Kimbrell (Dale); grandchildren, Joseph (Charlotte), Jonathan, Rachel, Nathan, Hannah, Andrew, Daniel, Samuel, Joshua and Jordan; great grandchildren, Austin, Chase, Everleigh; brother and sisters, Patsy Richey, Gloria Thomas, Paulette Thomas, Betty Sue Evans, Keith Campbell, Jr., Charles Campbell; Special Loved Ones, Hollie, Nannie, Ashley, Cody, John, Dean, and Shanna; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2024, from 1:00 PM, until 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 in the chapel with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
