Marie Woods

Marie Woods, of Marion, Alabama, passed away on February 25, 2021 at the age of 89. She was a longtime member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Vera Nichols; husband, James Woods; and brothers, Stewart C. Nichols, Carey Nichols, Hayward and wife Corrine Nichols. She is survived by her brother, Fred Nichols (Ann); nieces and nephews, Nick Nichols and Cindy LaPorte, Lynn and Mike Jordan, Susan and Ed Passmore, Art and Monica Nichols, Lisa Averett, Lee and Candy Nichols and Lori Nichols; sisters-in-laws, Evelyn Nichols and Doris Nichols; numerous great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Bro. John Gates officiating. Social distancing and masks are required.
