Luther "Marvin" Claytor

Luther "Marvin" Claytor, 86 of McCalla, AL, passed on May 16, 2026. He was a member of UMWA Local 2397. Marvin was a deacon at Valley Creek Baptist Church. Marvin was a member of UMWA District 20 Local 2397. He was an avid Alabama fan. He loved all of his fur babies but Bubba was his favorite.

Marvin is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Judy A. Claytor, brother, Bobby Claytor and sister, Judy Blevins. He will be fondly remembered by his nephew, Tim Davis (Rhonda); granddaughter, Ella Grace Davis; and many other relatives and friends. 

An inurnment service will be Friday, May 29, 2026 in Valley Creek Cemetery at 11:00 AM. The family requests that donations be made to Gideon Bible Ministry or a charity of your choice.
