Luther Marvin Claytor

Luther Marvin Claytor, 86 of McCalla, AL, passed on May 16, 2026. He was a member of UMWA Local 2397. Luther was a deacon at Valley Creek Baptist Church. Luther was a member of UMWA District 20 Local 2397. He was an avid Alabama fan. He loved all of his fur babies but Bubba was his favorite.

Luther is preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Judy A. Claytor and brother, Bobby Claytor. He will be fondly remembered by his nephew, Tim Davis (Rhonda); granddaughter, Ella Grace Davis; and many other relatives and friends. 

An inurnment service will be Friday, May 29, 2026 in Valley Creek Cemetery at 11:00 AM. The family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
