Lebbeous Eldridge Weekley, Jr.

L.E. Weekley, Jr., of Bessemer, passed away of September 13, 2020 at the age of 95. He was a Retired MSGT with the US Air Force and Deacon Emeritus from Union Hill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Margaret E. Weekley; and one sister, Irene Mardant. He is survived by his sons, John E. (Linda) Weekley, L. Alvin (Heather) Weekley and Raymond A. Weekley; one daughter, Glenda Weekley Cash; numerous grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens (Veterans) at 1:00 PM. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Southern Care Hospice who has taken such loving care of their father.
