Larry Kerr

Larry Kerr passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 86. He is preceded in death by his wife; Dorothy Jean Kerr. 2-sons, David Kerr and an infant son. Parents; Charles Reese Kerr and Naomi Mahala Hagood Kerr. Brothers; His twin brother; Harry Kerr, James Glazner Kerr, Lloyd Dean Kerr, Rodney Blythe Kerr and Michael Ray Kerr. Survivors include his brother Thomas Wiley Kerr (Marjorie), Carson Charles Kerr, Jerry Lynn Kerr. Sisters; Verna Rosa Mary Cowley, Nancy Jo Cooper, Betty Jean Kiep. Step-daughters; Jennie Lynn Wyatt and Brenda Gail Knott (David). Granddaughter; Kimberly Kerr. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Larry was a Gideon for more than 20 years and a member of Central Park Baptist Church. He served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Air Force. Services for Larry will be on Friday, April 13, 2018. A time of visitation will begin at 11:00am and the funeral at 12:00pm. These services will be held at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home; 1498 5th Ave., Pleasant Grove, AL. 35127 Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery.
