Larry Rodney Flowers

Larry Rodney Flowers, 73 of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, passed on October 31, 2026. He was born on January 5, 1953 to Pete, Jr. and Frances Wilkerson Flowers. He retired after 30 years as a coal miner and was a member of UMWA.

Larry is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, April Dion Brown. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Carol Flowers; sons, Chad Flowers (Crystal) and Eric Flowers; daughters, Kim Hill (Brad) and Ginger Canterbury (Jeff); grandchildren, Nate Brown (Zoe); Katie Canterbury, Brooklyn Brown, Landon Flowers, Lindsey Brown, Alyssa Flowers, Levi Brown, Ethan Brown, Jayden Flowers, and coming soon, Ms Juniper Dion Flowers; special friend, Mickey Hatfield; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 3, 2026 at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 AM. Funeral services will start at 12:00 PM with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. Bro. Luke Brown officiating.

Larry will be missed by all who knew him. He was a loving PaPa, father and husband.
