She was preceded in death by her husband, James William Thompson, I, parents, Loman and Ruby Henson Hood, brother, John Henry Hood, children, Tami Brown Seale and grandchild, Harold Gardner, Jr.
She is survived by children, Jack King (Nevelyn) of Oneonta, AL, Donna Stanfield (Danny) of Oneonta, AL, Sharon Wilkinson (J.D.) of Blountsville, AL, Brenda Dalton of Montpeleir, VA, Clarence Brown, Jr. (Wendy) of Indian Land, SC and William "Vic" Brown of Dora, AL., brother, Loman Hood (Melba) of Birmingham, AL,
She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, David Logan, Jason Stanfield, John Stanfield, Jennifer Gardner, David Rawls, Chris Brown, Amy Tompkins, Joshua Brown and Aaron Brown, 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
