John Thomas Coker Sr.

John Thomas Coker, Sr., of Dolomite, passed away on September 18, 2019, at the age of 77. He was an Army veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of the Graysville Gun Club. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jackson and Flora Coker; wife, Betty S. Coker; and granddaughter, Cokie L. Coker. He is survived by his sons, John T. Coker, Jr. and David M. Coker; daughters, Rebecca C. (Rick) Shoemake and Lelia G. (Scott) McCloud; sister, Jean Hamilton; special companion; Barbara Lopez; grandchildren, Nicole (Glen) House, Tyler Herbinger, Emaliegh (Brandon) Kynard, Victoria Coker, Andrew Perkins, Emma McCloud, and James McCloud; great grandchildren, Silas Kynard, Cody Reagan, Stella Kynard and Olivia House; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, September 20, 2019 from 1:00 until 2:00PM with funeral service starting at 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
