John Franklin Bradley, 80 of Centerpoint, Indiana, passed away on September 1, 2026, at Putnam County Hospital. Born on February 7, 1946 in Navasota, Texas to William and Kathleen Bradley.
On July 30, 1965, he enlisted into the US Army. He married his beloved wife, Martha Anne Wright, on August 15, 1965. He retired from the Army after 19 years of honorable service. John then begin his next career with the University of Alabama at Birmingham as a Police Officer before transferring to Homewood Police Department in 1989. He retired in 2003.
John found the Lord and became a pastor on July 10, 2003 and lead the congregation at Aldridge Missionary Baptist Church before moving to Stairview Baptist Church a year later.
He is preceded in death by his parents, William Bradley and Kathleen Weaver Bradley; stepfather, Elton Conn; wife of 58 years, Martha Anne Bradley; siblings, Margie Conn and Bill Bradley. He is survived by his children James Bradley (Kristen), Shannon Frazee (Mike) and Randy Bradley (Annabelle); grandchildren, Chelsea, Vanessa, Matthew, Sammy, Holly, Daisy, Jonathan, Jennie, Nicole, Michael, Brittaney, Russell, Alyssa, Nathan; several great grandchildren; brother, David Conn; sister, Laura Conn; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, September 11, 2026 in the chapel of Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home with interment in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until service time.
