Joan A. Judd
October 28, 1935 — June 23, 2020
Joan A. Judd, of Hueytown, passed away on June 23, 2020 at the age of 84. She was a longtime member of Maytown Baptist Church, member of Delta Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, member of the Gold Star Wives for 27 years, Founder of the Alabama Chapter of Police Survivors and a Sunday School Teacher for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Willie Mae Bowen; husband of more than 41 years, James Judd; siblings, Virginia Kendrick, Margie Robson, Evelyn Robinson and Ronald Bowen. She is survived by her son, James D. (Susan) Judd; daughter, Teresa J. (Walter) Bridges; grandchildren, Danielle E. (Kyle) Parker and Brad W. McMicken; great grandchildren, Maddie, Grace, Colin and Connor; sister, Jeanette Owens; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, June 26, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 12:00 PM with interment in Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Bro. Jimmy King officiating.
