Jimmie C. Lambert

Mr. Jimmie C. Lambert, affectionately known as "Pop", age 82 of Hueytown, passes away at this residence on August 5, 2026. Jimmy was born April 24, 1944 to the late Roy and Claudie Cooper Lambert . He is also predeceased by his three brothers, Billie Lambert, Eddie Lambert and Dannie Lambert

Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 41 years, Debra K. Lambert, step daughters, Shelli Brown (Jeremy) and Laci Smith (Anthony); grandchildren, Jarrett Brown, Ella Brown, Layla Smith and Cassie Smith.

Jimmie was a coal miner and a great provider for his family. For 23 years he worked for Jim Walter Resources before retirement. He was an avid Auburn football fan and Atlanta Braves baseball fan. Jimmie loved all sports and especially watching his grandchildren play high school sports.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 beginning at 12:00 PM at Crossroad Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 11:00 Am until service time. Bro. Alan Drew and Bro. Jason Rice will officiate the services.
