Jerry Murphy, Sr., of Bessemer, passed away on November 2, 2020 at the age of 65. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Mattie Murphy. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Lett Murphy; children, Lakesha Murphy (Jesse Keeth), Lavita Christopher (Russell), and Jerry Murphy, Jr. (Toquilla); sisters, Mary Strong and Will Ester Desmond (Albert); brother, Sidney Murphy, Jr. (Tammie); seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, November 6, 2020 from 2:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral service will be Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 12:00 PM at the funeral home with burial in the adjoining cemetery, Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Pastor Alfonza January officiating.
