Jeremy Seth Taylor, 46 of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, passed away on March 9, 2024. Born on August 2, 1977, Jeremy's life was marked by his humor, athleticism and profound love for his family and friends.

Growing up in Pleasant Grove, Jeremy was a standout athlete, engaging in football, basketball and baseball throughout his grade school years. His love for sports was not just about competition but also about the camaraderie and lifelong friendships he developed. Jeremy graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1995, carrying with him memories and lessons from the field that would shape his life.

After high school, Jeremy attended Alabama Fire College, aspiring to serve and make a difference. However, he soon realized that this path was not for him and embarked on a journey to find his true calling. This journey led him to a career as a Crane Technician, a role he embraced with a passion and dedication until he was no longer able to work. Beyond his professional life, Jeremy was a family's go-to "fix all", able to repair anything around the house or at the family printing business.

In 1998, Jeremy married his former wife, Kaci Lemley and together they welcomed three daughters: Madelyn, Meredith and Maci Claire. Jeremy instilled in them a love for softball, reflecting his own love for sports and the great outdoors. An all-around athlete himself, he shared his passions with his daughters, teaching them the values of teamwork, perseverance and joy in the simple things.

Jeremy was always the life of the party, known for his self proclaimed comedic skills and endless supply of corny Dad jokes. He loved riding motorcycles, feeling the wind through his hair and could often be found tinkering with something.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jesse, Sr. and Mildred Taylor, and his maternal grandparents, Clinton and Gertie Mae Justice. Jeremy's legacy lives on through his daughters, Madelyn, Meredith and Maci Claire; mother, Valerie Taylor; his father, Jesse Taylor; his sister, Ashley (Landon) Griffice. Jeremy's humor, warmth and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM with the service beginning at 2:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Turner officiating.
