Janet Denise Newsome, of Gardendale, passed away May 9, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward C. Wingo, Jr. She is survived by her sons, William B. Dark and Joey B. (Deborah) Dark; daughter, Ashley (Roger) Graf; mother, Norma Wingo; brothers, Dennis E. (Michelle) Wingo, Michael L. Wingo and Terry W. (Barbara) Wingo; grandchildren, Edwin Graf, Liam Graf, Naomi Dark and Brent Dark, and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM at Patterson Funeral Home on Friday, May 10, 2019 with a time of visitation from 12:00 Noon - 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Crestview Memorial Gardens.
