James Stewart Stinnett, 78 of Bessemer, Alabama passed away August 23, 2019. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Myra Stinnett; daughters, Amanda Dupree, Edie Johnston (Paul); grandchildren, Alexandria Johnston, Kendell Johnston, Katie Dupree; two great grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Kuhn; brothers, Dale Stinnett (Judy), Gary Smith and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2019 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon with the funeral beginning at 12:00 Noon at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Daven Watkins officiating.
