James C. Landreth

James C. Landreth, age 90, passed away on December 2, 2019. He was a life long resident of Pleasant Grove, Alabama. He was a charter member of Bethel Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Navy 1948-1950. He retired from U.S. Steel Fairfield Coke Works after 36 years of service. He was married to wife, Betty, for 56 years before she preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by grandchildren, Justin Binder and Deri Landreth; brother, Neil Landreth; and sister, Kate Otis. He is survived by daughters, Pat (Ted) Dupre and Kelley Lauderdale; grandchild, Cody Landreth; and 1 great granddaughter, Alora Tavel. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Graveside service will begin at 12:00 PM in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev.
