James E. Holmes, 88, of Gardendale, AL passed away October 8, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jerry Ann. He is survived by his son, Randy Holmes (Lisa); daughters, Sharon Sparks (Mike), Missy Cruce (Jimmy); five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. The visitation will be Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 1:15 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home and the funeral will be at the graveside at 2:00 PM at Forest Grove Memorial Gardens.
