Jacqueline Sims Newsome

Jacqueline Sims Newsome, of Birmingham, passed away on October 14, 2020 at the age of 39. She is preceded in death by her sons, John Tyler Newsome and John Michael Newsome; and aunt, Cyndi Arnold. She was married to Joseph Scott Norris for 5 years. She is survived by her children, Jacob Ryan Newsome and Brianna Nicole Newsome; step-children, Peyton Norris and Hailey Norris; grandchild, Liam Byrd; mother, Suzanne J. Foster (Van Duke); father, Billy Jack Sims (Rose); brother, Joseph Scott Foster (Brittany); grandparents, Wayne and Carolyn Jones; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, October 16, 2020 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home with burial immediately following in Dogwood Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (8736 Dogwood Grove Rd, Adger 35006). Brother Bob Cook officiating. Social distancing and masks are required.
