Jackie Glenn, a devoted husband, father, and community member, passed away suddenly on May 24, 2025, at Baptist Medical Center Princeton. He was born on May 4, 1943, and dedicated a significant portion of his life to serving his country and his community.

Jackie served honorably in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War as a maintenance engineer, an experience that shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and service. Following his military service, he became an integral part of his community, contributing his time and energy to various local initiatives.

A longstanding member of Bethel Baptist Church in Pleasant Grove, Jackie was known for his unwavering commitment to helping others. He participated actively in mission trips, volunteered for Vacation Bible School (VBS), and lent his efforts to Meals On Wheels, reflecting his passion for outreach and support within his community.

In addition to his service to others, Jackie found joy in hobbies that allowed him to connect with nature and build connections with those around him. He was an avid fisherman, often spending weekends at local lakes with friends and family. Gardening was another of his cherished pastimes, where he took pride in cultivating beautiful flowers and planting tomatoes that would contribute to family meals.

Jackie is survived by his beloved wife, Jane Glenn; sons, Rodney Glenn and David Mouser (Pamela); and daughters, Joy Glenn and Karen Sweat. He is predeceased by his parents, Jack and Earline Miller Glenn, as well as his twin brother, Jerry Glenn, and sister, Paula Holmes.

Jackie's legacy of service, love for family, and dedication to community will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. His absence leaves a void that will be felt widely among family, friends, and church members.
