Jackie L Bunn

Jackie L. Bunn, 83 of Hueytown, Alabama passed away, March 11, 2019. He was a dedicated servant of the Lord. He was a deacon and lifetime member of North Highlands Baptist Church. He served in the US Army in Korea following his graduation from Hueytown High School and was a hardworking retiree from US Steel for many years. Jackie enjoyed playing his banjo and music with his friends. He had so much pleasure coon hunting with a group of special friends. He loved sharing witty stories about friends and his beloved Bunn family. He put God first and family like no other. These will always be an empty place in the hearts of his family and all the precious memories they shared.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Rufus L. and Lillian Bunn. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Bunn; sons, Kevin Jay Bunn, Jeffrey Lee Bunn (Crystal); daughter, Jill Anne Bunn; grandchildren, Joey Bunn, Jade Bunn, Jordan Fitts, Jacob Carlin; great grandchildren, Eli, Dan, Waylen, Kate Bunn; sisters, Peggy Vildibill (Charles), June Garner (George) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2019 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM with the funeral beginning at 1:00 PM at North Highlands Baptist Church, 4851 15th St, Hueytown, Alabama. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Pastor Michael Wallace officiating.
