Hugh Nelson Glaze

Hugh Nelson Glaze, 71 of Bessemer, AL passed away March 13, 2018. The legacy he leaves behind includes 15 plus years of mentoring young people at Rock Creek Ball Park. He loved his special trips to the river with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife, Cyndi Glaze; sons, Hugh Daniel "Danny" Glaze (Angela), Jackie Ray Glaze; daughter, Jennifer Glaze Higgins (Barry); grandchildren, Evan and Lauryn Higgins, Sawyer and Tucker Glaze; sister, Charlotte Glaze Nelson (Kenny) and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home. The funeral will be Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Liberty Baptist Church, 8218 Alliance-Short Creek Rd 23, Bessemer, AL. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Cranford Hicks officiating.
