Herbert Majors Jr.

Herbert Majors Jr. passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the age of 88. He is preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Majors Sr. and Vinnie Owens Majors, His first wife of 56 years Mary Ellen Majors and his second wife, Annie Clouse Majors of twelve years. In addition to these he is predeceased by one sister, Dorothy Nelson. and 4 brothers, Willie Majors, Rex Majors, Willard Majors and Donald Majors. His survivors include, his son's, Richard W. Majors (Norma), Edward L. Majors (Lisa) and Rodney Godwin. Two daughters, Lorie M. Scott (Jim) and Joanna Lowe (Brian).
One brother David Majors (Joyce). Grandchildren, Lesley Odom, Kristen Dechert (Ed), Melissa Griggs (Demetrick) Brandi White (Craig), Jill Smith,Jonie Jones (Clint), Jamie Smith, Amy Lowe, and Bekah Lowe. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren. Services for Mr. Majors will be held at Reno Baptist Church on Saturday morning beginning with a time of visitation at 10:00AM and the funeral at 11:00AM. Burial will follow at Kinard Cemetery. Rev. Roasco Kornegay officiating. Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home conducting.
