Hazel Tillery Jackson

Hazel Tillery Jackson, 90 of Sylvan Springs, AL, passed away on October 3, 2026. She was born on August 17, 1936, to James and Myrtle Ward Tillery. She loved to cook for her family and loved them all more than anything in the world (especially her grandsons).

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of more than 50 years, Robert G. Jackson and her brother, Jimmy Tillery. She is survived by daughters, Pam Saxon (Jeff) and Paula Jackson; grandsons Jake Saxon (Valerie) and Luke Saxon; great-grandson Sammy Saxon; sister-in-law, Alice Tillery, and many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM with funeral service to begin at 12:00 PM in the chapel at Patterson Forest Funeral Home. Pastor Jimmy King officiating.
