Harry M. Jordan

JORDAN, HARRY MILLER, age 98 of Pleasant Grove, Alabama, passed away on September 18, 2023. He served his country as a Corporal in the US Army during World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Jordan; son-in-law, Jay Newsom, one grandchild, Jenny Newsom Clark; his parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Newsom of Pelham, Alabama, and Marilyn Dedeaux (Kenny) of Fairhope, Alabama; four grandchildren, Jamie Newsom (Cheri) of Birmingham, Alabama, Stephen Dedeaux of Robertsdale, Alabama, Carly Berry (Don) of Silverlake, Washington, and Audrey Dooley (Matt) of Fairhope, Alabama; eight great-grandchildren, Tristan Newsom, Abby Fox, Carter Newsom, McKinlee Barrett-Dedeaux, Landon Dooley, Elin Newsom, Farrah Stewart, and Nolan Dooley. Visitation will be held at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home in Pleasant Grove, Alabama on Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 10:30 to 11:30 am. Funeral services will follow at 11:30 am with burial in Forest Grove Memorial Gardens, Reverend Scott Peters officiating.
