Goldie A. Montgomery

Goldie Ann Montgomery, of Pleasant Grove, passed away on August 25, 2020 at the age of 84. She was a longtime member of Berney Points Baptist Church. She later joined Bethel Baptist Church where she was a very active and faithful member. She is preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Jimmie R. Montgomery; two daughters, Janine Langston (Richard) and Carla Perkins (Brian); grandchildren, Aaron Langston (Courtney), Nathan Langston (Kimberlee); great grandchildren, Mitch, Bates and Addison; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and many, many special friends. Visitation will be Thursday, August 27, 2020 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM at Bethel Baptist Church (635 9th Way, Pleasant Grove, AL). Funeral services will be held at the church on Friday, August 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM with burial to follow at Patterson Forest Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Eric Taylor and Rev. Rick Cato officiating. Donations, in Goldie's name, can be made to Bethel Baptist Church OCC or Nicaraguan Mission Trip. Social distancing and masks are required.
