Gerald Newton Smith

Gerald Newton Smith, of Hueytown, passed away on August 24, 2020 at the age of 69. His love for the outdoors led him to work in the Maintenance Department of Tannehill State Park. He is preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Gertrude Smith. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Albright Smith; son, Jacob L. Smith (Alicia); daughters, Jennifer Smith and Patty Scott; grandchildren, Allie M. Smith, Farrah McCain, Phoenix Finwall, Lacey Shoemaker and Draven Scott; sisters, Suzie Floyd of Nashville, TN and Judi Carter of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Rodney Smith of Columbia, AL; three fur babies, Bama, LaLa and Big Boy; and many other relatives and friends. No services are planned at this time.
