Fred Nabors

Fred Nabors, born on October 8, 1941, in Shelby County, Alabama, peacefully passed away on February 20, 2026, at the residence of his daughter. He leaves behind a legacy of dedication and hard work, having owned and operated NCI for more than 30 years, a testament to his entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence.

Fred is survived by his beloved family, including his son, Tim Nabors, and his daughter, Diana Nabors. He was proud of his grandchildren, Katie Byrum, Stephen Nabors, and Ben Nabors, as well as his great-grandchildren, Enzo Nabors and Callum Byrum. Fred also cherished his relationship with his brother, Paul Nabors.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Madelyn Nabors, who held a special place in his heart, alongside his parents, Horace and Jessie Bailey Nabors. Fred is also remembered by his late brothers, Junior Nabors and Sterling Nabors, and his sisters, Imogene Seales, Doris Donaldson, and Jessie Bailey.

A graveside service will be held in Fred's honor on February 24, 2026, at Forest Grove Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Alabama. Friends and family are invited to gather to remember and celebrate his life, starting at 11:00 AM, with the service commencing at 12:00 PM.

Fred Nabors will be deeply missed, but his contributions to his family and community will be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
