Fred Boyd, Jr.

Fred Boyd, Jr., affectionately known as "Paw-Paw", went home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 12, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Lillian Harris Boyd; brother, Rev. Forest Boyd; sisters, Lorraine Nelson, Eunice Martin and Mary Barnhill; mother-in-law, Mildred Rutland; and father-in-law, Clarence Rutland. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary Alice Rutland Boyd; son, Ricky Boyd (Kathy); daughter, Tammy Todd (Byron); grandchildren, Brooke McDaniel (Scott), Katie Boyd (Nick Manning) and Ricky Boyd, Jr. (Kayla); great grandsons, Chase and Reid McDaniel; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM with service beginning at 2:00 PM at Patterson Forest Grove Funeral Home. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Deacon Ricky Boyd officiating.
