Evelyn Horton, of Hueytown, Alabama passed away on August 10, 2017 at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her parents: David and Evvie Waldrep. Also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerald Horton. Daughter: Debbie Lawrence. Brothers: Harold Waldrep, Arvil Waldrep, and Lamar Waldrep. Survivors include her daughters: Becky Jordan and Pam Eason (Tommy). Son-in-law: Odell Lawrence. Sisters: Juanita Elsberry and Dorothy Hyde. Grandchildren: Janel George (Criss), Jason Jordan, Nicole Jordan, Krisann Eason and Allison Eason. Great Grandchildren: Autumn George, Silas George, Erica Jordan, and Jolene Jordan. Also survived by many other loved ones and friends. The service will be held at Patterson-Forest Grove Funeral Home, Pleasant Grove, AL. There will be a time of visitation Sunday evening from 5:00 until 7:00, with the funeral on Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Rev. Wes Haley officiating.
