Eva T. Watkins

Eva T. Watkins, 97, of Chattanooga passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 and went home to be with Jesus Christ. Eva was known to be a faithful Christian and an ardent Bible student. She was known for her sweet nature and love throughout her days. Eva was known for her cooking, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, ceramics, drawings and paintings. She was a member of East Hamilton Church of Christ. Eva is preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Albert Watkins who was also a devout Christian and a minister of Christ; her parents, Robert and Esther Tucker, Her Brother, Robert, Jr. and two of her sisters, Leona and Rose. She leaves behind her sister, Verna Russell of Morris, Alabama and her four children, Albert Watkins and his wife Elizabeth of Wilsonville, Alabama, Michael Watkins and his wife, Laura of Chattanooga. Tennessee, Anita Jordan of Olympia, Washington as well as Sue and her husband, Buddy Parker of Fultondale, Alabama; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Private graveside services will be held in Pleasant Grove, Alabama with her grandson, Jon officiating.
